Craft Saké Brewery, SakéOne, Announces Inaugural Presence at Outside Lands 2013 with Flagship Brand, Momokawa

Making festival history, the increasingly popular beverage will be served for the first time at Wine Lands



San Francisco, CAMomokawa, a premium craft saké produced by SakéOne in Forest Grove, Oregon, will join Wine Lands for the first time at the fifth annual Outside Lands, San Francisco’s music and arts festival that draws 200,000 attendees from around the world. SakéOne is one of the leading producers of Junmai Ginjo (premium) saké in the United States, with Momokawa as its flagship American-crafted brand.

In addition to pouring saké at the festival for the first time, SakéOne will be introducing its Momokawa Organic Junmai Ginjo saké on draft, which will be served from a 662-ounce/19.57-liter size keg using “Guinness Gas,” a blend of 75% Nitrogen and 25% CO2 to ensure the delicate saké’s aromatics and flavors stay fresh. The keg will be enclosed in a specially designed Japanese Taiko Drum, created by Brooklyn-based Draft Choice Corp. The San Francisco foodie crowd also loves indie music, so serving up an organic American made saké is a perfect fit for the ever progressive food & craft beverage scene in San Francisco.

Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival will take place on August 9 – 11 at San Francisco’s historic Golden Gate Park. Joining Momokawa at Wine Lands will be an additional 30+ wineries.
