After overseeing the development and expansion of the Fess Parker
brand to substantial critical acclaim, Eli Parker conceived Epiphany
wines in 1999 with a simple mission: crafting small production wines
of the very highest quality possible. Some may deem this kind of
endeavor as "artisan" but for Eli it is nothing more complicated
than an opportunity to work with the very best vineyards and the
most interesting varietal types, putting his best foot forward in
doing so.
Epiphany's portfolio of wines reflects Eli's special fondness for
Rhône wines, but his Burgundian varietals fare equally as
well with the critics. Several outstanding and highly praised Epiphany
vintages eventually culminated in Eli Parker being named "Winemaker
of the Year 2006" by the San Francisco International
Wine Competition.
More than anything else, Epiphany allows Eli to satisfy his passion
for and fascination with winemaking. Epiphany's foundation is built
upon the outstanding grapes harvested from the best vineyards throughout
Santa Barbara County and beyond. In most cases the Epiphany wines
are made with grapes from a single vineyard source in order to accentuate
the unique characteristics and terroir of that vineyard. The result
is pure and exquisite a true winemaker's wine"
