Almost a month to the day of the fires igniting in Northern California, I needed to see the devastation firsthand to really allow the scale to sink in. It took me 5 years to go to the 9-11 Memorial after living in New York for 13 years. We will rebuild.

Five spirits that are really popular today are absinthe, small batch whiskey, tequila, gin and rum. Absinthe became legal to import in the US for the first time in 95 years. People are learning to appreciate fine tequila more today, and same goes for rum as well.
