Bar Bambino’s Easter Feast for Brunch April 24th 11 AM – 3 PM

28 March, 2011

La Festa di Pasqua in Italy is such a family affair, most families pack up a picnic lunch after Easter services and head off to the country to enjoy the sunshine after enduring the damp cold winter season.   In tribute, Bar Bambino’s Executive chef Lizzie Binder has devised a northeastern Italian brunch menu highlighting classic spring recipes of the Tyrolean and Friulian regions.   Please come and enjoy a three course prix-fixe feast from which there will be options to choose including among others: a pea, artichoke and green garlic Easter pie, buckwheat waffles with marscapone and elderberry syrup; a lamb shank and barley braise with a riced egg and torn mint; horseradish crusted Steelhead with roasted Easter radish and fava beans and the famed dolci of pastry chef Alyce Shields.

The menu will be offered Sunday April 24th 2011 from 11 AM to 3 PM. The three course brunch is $45 (beverages, tax and gratuity not included)  Please call 415.701.VINO (8466) to reserve your seats or email reservations@barbambino.com.
